Join Us for the 2026 WAHRS Conference!

The Power of Us! Harnessing Community, Collaboration, and Collective Action for Wisconsin Youth

The Wisconsin Association for Homeless and Runaway Services (WAHRS) invites you to join us for Wisconsin's premier conference dedicated to ending youth homelessness.

This year's theme, The Power of Us! Harnessing Community, Collaboration, and Collective Action for Wisconsin Youth, celebrates what we can accomplish when communities unite around a shared purpose. As the needs of young people continue to evolve, so must our partnerships, our innovation, and our commitment to working together.

The WAHRS Conference brings together youth advocates, service providers, nonprofit leaders, educators, legal partners, policymakers, AmeriCorps members, and — most importantly — youth and young adults with lived experience from across Wisconsin. Together, we'll explore emerging trends, share promising practices, strengthen cross-sector partnerships, and develop strategies that create lasting change for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

What to Expect

  • Inspiring sessions and keynote speakers
  • Youth-led panels and discussions
  • Interactive workshops and breakout sessions
  • Policy and advocacy updates
  • Networking opportunities with colleagues and partners from across Wisconsin
  • Practical tools and resources to strengthen your work and your community

Whether you're new to this work or a seasoned professional, you'll leave with fresh ideas, meaningful connections, and renewed energy to advance opportunities for Wisconsin's youth.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we amplify our impact. Together, we are The Power of Us.
